Hope Bible Christian Chapel was built between 1855 and 1859 and is thought to have developed from an earlier meeting of Bible Christians who met at 'Fisher Place'.

Zoar Baptist Chapel was built in 1822 and rebuilt in 1836. The later chapel was built in the Simple Gothic and Vernacular style of the gable-entry type. By 2000 this chapel had fallen into disuse.
